The oil trading business is in large part about logistics: assuring the physical delivery of huge oil and other petroleum product shipments across and between continents as efficiently as possible. Mercuria’s logistics team sources appropriately sized carriers on demand, ensures storage capacity in strategic locations around the world, and rapidly mobilizes experts whenever and wherever they are needed.
Mercuria has at its disposal over 30 million barrels of total storage capacity spread across four continents. The Group is active in all shipping markets and disposes of a fleet of time-chartered vessels including Aframax, Panamax, Suezmax and VLCCs. |
